CALENDAR OF ACTIVITIES

Annual L’Ouverture Symposium and Business Awards

This event is held during the month of April. The event recognizes Haitian-American business owners of excellence, brings awareness about the historical icon Toussaint L’Ouverture and celebrates the co-naming of Nostrand Avenue to Toussaint L’Ouverture Blvd.

Annual HABNET Reception

This reception is held during the month of October or November. It is an event to appreciate excellence, service and leadership in our community. Honorees are selected based on exceptional performance in their field; or based on their exceptional service to the community. The HABNET Entrepreneur of the Year is the only business owner of Haitian ancestry to be recognized at this event. This event is also HABNET’s fundraiser and portion of the proceeds are donated as scholarships to gifted students of Haitian ancestry who are interested in business.

Annual HABNET Economic Conference
